I’ve been stuck blogging on my tiny 15.4 inch laptop screen. Some of you may disagree that that is actually a decent size monitor screen. I don’t agree. I want something big! I want to blog on something huge! So I am making the step up from my notebook screen to a giant 24″ LCD screen. Just imagine how much more effective I will be able to produce stuff. Not only will I be able to use my notebook screen, but a 24″ inch screen to blog. On one monitor I can have my wordpress admin controls open, and on the other I can have my research material open. No need to click back and forth here. Ah it will be wonderful. I want a little help deciding which one to get, though. I am stuck in Thailand, so shipping here is pretty much out of the picture. There is one place I love to go, called Pantip Plaza. It is a blogger’s paradise. Computers, digital cameras, and pirated movies and software surround you. There I was able to find two 24 inch monitors. Here they are:
Acer P243WAid
HP w2408
The thing I love about the HP option is that it will actually tilt to a full portrait mode. That way I could write school reports and all that crap. It might be good with art if I am drawing something that I need a new perspective with. Acer doesn’t seem too special, but they have a deal at Pantip now. If I but the Acer, I will get a TV tuner with it. That would be great for hooking up my Playstation to the monitor. I hate using my tiny TV. The prices are near the same, maybe 10 dollars different, so I am not too concerned with that. You can check out the specs of either monitor by clicking on the images.
I may be willing to settle with a 22 inch monitor, or maybe 2 smaller 19-20 inch monitors. Which one should I go for, and if you have any suggestions let me know. This blogger is all ears!
Thanks!
No clicks? You can still make money here.

whatever you buy, please check their response time because, it matters a lot.
If you can afford don’t settle down for more than 2s response time.
If you can’t afford, stick to at least 5s
don’t go for 8s or so.. pretty poor performance..
2s are great replacement for CRT to do all imaging and so..
lemme know what did you buy??
mine is 17 inch widescreen toshiba laptop

Honestly, I’d go with the Acer. First thing that always dies on us (we’re an HP family) is the monitor. The off-brand ones seem to work better for us. While Acer isn’t technically an off-brand, it’s still not an HP

I use a laptop with an external screen also. If I were you, I’d go with the HP. They tend to have better response times and resolution. Plus, I like HP better.

Personally I would go with HP but if you can go for Samsung. I have bought three Acer screens in a row and all three had dead pixels within a week. Then I bought a Samsung and I have been using it for three years now and it is still working great.
