Goals for Blogosis:
- · Get a custom, original, Wordpress theme
- · Create an active community where my posts get at least 10 comments each
- · Post at least once a day
- · Get submissions for guest posts (at least 1 a week)
- · Run weekly contests
- · Make $400 dollars a month from Blogosis
I will need a custom, professionally done theme if I want this blog to be truly magnificent, so when I make enough money I will certainly get that done. I want this blog to be active, so by the end of the year I hope to be seeing plenty of comments. I will always post at least once a day, even if I don’t have access to a computer, I’ll always schedule blog articles. I want to start getting some guest bloggers up on Blogosis. Blogging is a huge topic, and I want every area of it covered. So, if you want an article published on ‘The Process of a Blog,’ please email me at justindupre@blogosis.com. I also want to start offering weekly contests, alongside my big monthly giveaway contest. Hopefully, I can obtain this last goal within 2 months. $400 dollars would feed me, clothe me, and pay for my rent. It would take a lot of pressure off of my loan situation. Right now I am borrowing about 20,000 dollars a year for college, if I can cut that in half even, my future would be much more certain.
Subscription Goals:
- · 300 subscribers
- · 100 email subscribers
I am just studying the numbers I have now, and think these numbers are well within reason. After about, what, 3 weeks of blogging, I’ve built up a subscribership of 35 and 15 of those are by email. If that keeps on track, I will have well over 300 subscribers by the end of 2008.
Personal Goals:
- · Make enough money to bring my sister to Thailand (about $1600)
- · Create my own Wordpress theme
- · Make money affiliate marketing on new domains
- · Gain 10 pounds
I really want to make around 1600 dollars in order to bring my sister to Thailand. I miss her more than I’ve ever missed anyone, and I really want her to see what it’s like being on the other side of the world. She deserves it. I eventually want to learn enough coding to be able to develop my own wordpress themes by the end of the year. Luckily my college offers courses that may help me. I am just now getting into affiliate marketing since Adsense seems to have failed me. I am working on another blog, this one will be for a specific type of product. As for my last personal goal, I think I am a bit underweight. I just want to look a little heavier, haha.
